I Want to be Green is the special Pitti Immagine project created to open the doors of Pitti Connect to the kidswear collections and initiatives that are in line with the “eco-conscious” drive of the new generations.

The vegan-friendly shoe

Bobux, the iconic New Zealand brand known for its soft and colorful baby slippers, has launched a 100% vegan and sustainable footwear line for SS22, strengthening its eco-conscious commitment.
The shoes are called Seedling and, after being anticipated this year with a small capsule, they will finally make children and families who care about the environment happy, starting with SS22.
The Seedling shoes have a super perforated knitted bamboo upper, bamboo jersey lining, and recycled rubber sole. In short, a shoe that is good for the Earth and children's feet, a soft, breathable, hypoallergenic, and super light ally to run free and safe. Three colors (indigo, tumeric, and pink) for two ages: Step up (18-22) and I-Walk (23-26).
The sustainable idea
The Acktiv sole in recycled rubber is resistant, flexible, and offers super grip.
Green Materials
Bamboo is considered "carbon negative." It produces 30% more oxygen in the atmosphere and absorbs more CO2 than any other plant. It decreases greenhouse gases, cleans the air, and, above all, grows quickly.
Something more
Bobux collaborates with the One Tree Planted association: for every Seedling shoe sold, a tree is planted in Indonesia.
