As the biggest department store group in Europe, El Corte Inglés is Spain's only remaining department store chain. A benchmark of Spanish distribution, Esther Fortún Menor joined the brand over sixteen years ago. As the head buyer for external brands, Menor specializes in childrenswear.
We speak to the seasoned retail vet as she expands on her favorite brands.
 
Boboli

The ORGANIC COTTON collection with its 100% organic cotton flamé knitted ribbed knit.

STAMPS is full of vitality, which is part of the brand's DNA, such as the reinvented zebra animal print, with a youthful air and ethnic spots, combining colors such as mustard, khaki, white and black.

Highlighting the full jumpsuits in fresh, fluid, and very comfortable fabrics, such as viscose. The tropical print on a dark background marks the return of this type of print, so colorful and vibrant that we find in all lines of Boboli (from Newborn, through Baby Girl and Boy, to Kids Girl and Boy).
Please Kids

Brand with a typical Italian design and perfect fit for denim. My favorites of this collection: the cargo pants and the jacket with its camouflage floral print.
Tutto Piccolo

Conga Collection: your must-haves for baby boy and baby girl, in key natural colors for this season. For this season, printed stripe on textured fabric, flamé stitch and figurative print with fun zebras.

The Calypso collection reflects the brand identity. The sailor-style in renewed garments such as dungarees and overalls makes this collection a must have of the summer. Woven stripes in quality plain knit, combined with chambray fabric, create very appealing looks.
 
Pan con Chocolate

I love them for their colorful and cheerful designs. With wide diversity in each collection, they adapt very well to all body types. Designed with a great fit, they are comfortable and pleasant. The garments feature a lot of detail, and the brand plays very well with the mobility of the garments. The feminine air they give off is very chic. They transmit happiness and play a lot with the imagination of the girls, making them feel very special. This is perceived by the girls and they love it! It is a very well studied design, versatile and timeless. My favorites this season:

The Candiss dress: The theme gives a twist to the classic Sailor. Inspired by the coral seabed, the shirt is fun, flattering, and colorful.

The Aura dress is my favorite without a doubt this season, it’s the dress of the collection. Look at the detail of the open back, and the front is a shirt cut. It has flight, it is as if you were wearing two dresses in one - it has it all! The cotton fabric has a very soft silky touch.

The Teen collection, very successful and modern, ethnic print in chiffon. It is light and very colorful, with an elegant air, a success in this age. So rebellious for the bold air of the set.

And to close, the dress Libe. Very romantic and elegant, powdered shades, perfect for various ceremonies.
 
The New Society

A brand with a sustainable, contemporary, and fresh conscience. For girls, the Camila dress. I love the loose fit, with its Liberty print and cotton lace detail at the neckline. For boys, the organic cotton logo sweatshirt in natural colors.
