A family company
It all started in 1936, when Alfredo Romagnoli and his wife Lola started a small shoe workshop in Monte San Giusto, a village nestled in the hills of Le Marche, a region steeped in the heritage and culture of Italian footwear. Even back then, the shoes made in his workshop were renowned for their quality and style, and it wasn’t long before they became highly popular in the nearby markets.
Alfredo’s son Franco later took the reins of the company and, together with his wife Giuseppina, continued to follow in his father’s footsteps. He, in turn, passed on his passion for shoes to his own children, Alfredo and Alfio, who today manage the family business. Three generations committed to the same job, united by the same goal: creating shoes that help children grow up naturally and securely.

Rondinella exclusively makes children's shoes, backed by a high-quality supply chain in the region of Le Marche. Every one of our customers gets a bespoke service from their own individual contact within our organisation. What’s more, the company updates its styles every season, anticipating fashion trends, and we interpret the tastes of our customers in 20 countries around the world. We work in rational environments conducive to our design work, surrounded by lush green areas, in a modern factory that is 100% Made in Italy.

Rondinella shoes are designed and built with ergonomics in mind, without losing sight of the structure of a growing foot. The fit of our shoes is designed and fine-tuned to ensure they can shape according to each individual foot, from their first steps through to the later stages of childhood. Functionality and security combine with an original and fascinating creativity. Our linings are made of natural calfskin for breathability, padding for the optimal fit, and premium rubber soles.
 
PRIMI PASSI LINE
Discover the world, safely
For those first steps, a baby's delicate foot needs the right support to maintain a proper posture and grow correctly, but also enough comfort and agility to discover the world safely. The shoes of the Primi Passi collection are rigid on the outside and soft on the inside, and they all include anatomical footbeds, while the key areas of the shoe are reinforced for added protection and durability.

JUNIOR LINE
A thousand and one adventures at their feet
The Junior line captures the latest fashion trends with a fresh twist. The careful construction of the shoe includes natural linings and premium leathers, to combine functionality with that Made in Italy creativity. We always use 100% genuine rubber outsoles to ensure maximum durability and freedom of movement.

Our world revolves around children and dreams. We want to leave a better world for them, and we want to commit to this through our actions. We believe in saving resources, which is why we opt to reuse unused leather to make high-quality and versatile tote bags. We cultivate a vegetable garden at the factory, to teach children the rules of nature. We use the seeds of the vegetables we consume, to give birth to new life. This is our spirit.

Open in 2011, the Rondinella showroom is a place where we welcome customers willing to compare, discuss, and put forward new ideas. It is a space that contains new projects and new dreams, allowing us to always look to the future with optimism. Spazio Rondinella is located in Milan, in the former Richard Ginori Area, in a location called "the citadel of creativity, fashion and art"  because there’s no such thing as a coincidence.
