BLANC hats are designed and produced in our studio at the historic center of Athens in Greece since 2014. Our brand has a contemporary women orientation and this is the first launch of our kids collection. All pieces are handmade and combine local artisanal millinery techniques with 3D design and premium material. Our production team works side by side with the last millinery female artisans carrying their craft to the future. Our kids collection draws inspiration from the vivid and fun life of the kids. Splendid and bright colors aim to create imaginative and playful designs in order to make children look adorable.
Konstantinia Vafeiadou is the creative director of the brand. She completed her studies in Fine Arts and Costume Design in Performance at London College of Fashion. Her passion for craftsmanship and design inspired her to explore the boundaries between fashion and art in millinery techniques so as to create a harmonious symbiosis thereof.
BLANC responsibly sources fully premium and traceable raw materials. Merino wool is a natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre. Paper straw is recyclable and eco-friendly. Our artisanal, end-to-end handmade process allows us to control wastage in production. We don’t mass produce. We keep and upcycle every element.
