Brand Profile
Ludò was born in 2019 in Piedmont, from the idea of an entrepreneur in the textile sector who by passion delves into the great issue of pollution and social exploitation related to the fashion industry.
The brand was founded on two clear pillars: to avoid further unsold items in the industry and to focus on the contemporaneity of the product.
To make this concept a reality, the path has been designed backwards.
True to the principle of circular economy, Ludò creates its collections according to the upcycling principle, the creative recovery that works on leftover fabrics and textiles found in the warehouses of the best Italian weavers.
These dozens and dozens of meters of unused fine fabrics are called deadstock: after choosing those that best match the design, Ludò offers limited edition capsules, creating an exclusive product that is renewed according to the available fabrics.
Inspired by Seventies design, the collections are whimsical, while maintaining a timeless design.
With this production choice, Ludò wants to clearly communicate its stance, to defend and share Italian traditions and talent,
to propose garments that last over time, always up-to-date, handed down from generation to generation.
