From its very first steps, Maison Labiche has been rooted in the will to create with its hands. It resulted in a special typography and a hand-embroidery on the heart, on quality t-shirts made for everyone, as an intent to bring a popular product and a touch of couture together. It is a joyful concept, transversal and simple, that everyone can take on as their own. It’s not lifestyle : it’s simply life.

Embroidery is our heritage, our transmission, and our savoir-faire, sewn into fabrics and generations. We propose a tailor-made service : while embroidering words on our products, you create a unique, responsible and committed piece. Your product becomes a cherishable memory to keep, and to gift. 

This promise wouldn’t make sense without a true, honest commitment. For 10 years, we kept our production local, responsible, and respectful of the environment. Indeed, 95% of our products are made in Europe, mainly in Portugal, and our European productions have always been labeled Oeko-Tex. In 2018, we began transitioning towards a GOTS-labeled production, alongside our partners: as of today, 75% of our total production is labeled, with a projection of 90% for next year. The GOTS label guarantees the production line’s response to the high ecological and social responsibility criteria, as one of the most known and reliable label. As little details matter a great deal to us, our packaging is made out of potato starch, and is 100% fit for compost. 

We insist on keeping a family aura to our production. In that sense, some workshops have remained by our side since the beginning, and keep on growing with us today.

In order to limit our impact and avoid overproduction or excess in stocks, we made the decision to open an embroidery workshop in France.
