Life’s beautiful things, always with you. It looks good for its age, don’t you think? But Invicta is more than one hundred years old. Its story begins in 1906, in England. Back then, young people and adults in England were already using Invicta’s comfortable, well-made bags and sacks to carry around the small and large objects that filled their daily lives. Perhaps it was looking for a bit more sun when it arrived in Italy in 1921, in Turin’s Borgo del Fumo neighbourhood (Italy). Not far from where the waters of the Dora Riparia and Po rivers merge, Invicta’s craftsmen were at work inventing new products: especially backpacks and accessories for sport and mountaineering. From one idea to the next, Invicta accompanied the lives and desires of its fans right through until the Eighties: with the arrival of the Jolly backpack, the brand acquired a cult status for entire generations of young people — and a real social and cultural phenomenon was born.
