The ELE S.r.l company was founded in 1962 with Lina Mazzoni, a laboratory specializing in the artisan production of knitwear accessories for third parties.
The "Il Trenino" brand was born in 1968 from the idea and commitment of her daughter Maria and her husband Giuliano, soon creating a solid working reality in the economy of the small town of San Ginese di Compito, in the province of Lucca. Since 1998, Maria and Giuliano's children have also joined the company: Maurizio and Dorella.

In the same year, the company became part of the Italian Kids Fashion Consortium with the Il Trenino brand, a consortium that deals with the promotion of Made in Italy for the children's fashion sector abroad.

Made in Italy which is strengthened with the certification of the licensed company of the Woolmark brand, as a further guarantee of product quality, and the "100% Italian Manufacturers" certification in 2011.

Starting from the AW 22-23 season we will launch a new large and ambitious project that will complement our consolidated line of hats / scarves and gloves, for which we have been known for years all over the world.
Our KNITWEAR line is born: newborn knitwear from 0-24 months and knitwear for children from 2 to 16 years.

IL TRENINO brand, for years synonymous with quality and reliability, has decided to bring within it an equally solid reality in the field of knitwear, with stylists and technicians with many years of experience on the market, to offer a wider choice to our customers in made of product range.
