Inspired by the Montessori Education of learning-by-doing, mimOOkids empowers children to be more independent in their daily dressing routine. We promote the autonomy & learning process of the children by offering smart dressing solutions such as extra elastic collars, our Close-Me System (age adapted colour-coded fasteners), extra big buttons, super elastic waists to pull up & down easily the pants & comfortable designs for free movement.
We are committed to a positive environmental & social impact. We use only high quality &100% certified sustainable materials sourced under ethical conditions in the EU. Recycled cotton, transformed textile residue into high quality yarn, classified as one of the most sustainable fibres in the world (Global Recycled Standard & Oekotex) It’s recycled & recyclable and supports the circular economy. We developed an innovative blend with linen in order to decrease the green footprint of traditional linen. Organic super soft cotton, GOTS & Okeotex certified. Natural materials: buttons made of olive tree wood, vegan bio-based leather labels made of recycled paper for an authentic vintage effect. Consciously designed & slowly made in family-owned, artisan factories in Barcelona.
mimOOkids was born with the desire to add a new purpose to kids clothing. Tired of tiny openings for big children's heads & impossible closings for small hands, we wanted to give small children the possibility to be more autonomous. mimOOkids boosts self-confidence, colour learning & fine motor skills for children aged 1 to 8 years.
Since the launch of mimOOkids in 2018, the innovative & sustainable concept of mimOOkids has been mentioned by the international press. We have already re-sellers in more than 10 countries & started collaborations with Schools for their sustainable & educational school uniforms.
