Brand Profile
Ebulobo is a French company founded in 2008 by Anne Lelong and Ferdinand Lecomte. Anne and Ferdinand both graduated in Design and were in charge for designing toys and children products for popular brands such as Djeco, Baghera, Bebè Comfort among others. Working as creative, independent designers was their dream job. Ebulobo is the result of such desire.
Ebulobo, the name of a volcano located in Indonesia, well represents the designers’ point of view: a constant brainstorming, an eruption of new ideas to design safe, reliable products. Each product is exclusive and unique because:
– It’s a educational, learning tool to enhance development and self-awareness in children. It’s a valid support through the stages of development: the bright colours and contrasting patterns stimulate the baby’s vision, while the easy maneuverability is very helpful in mastering new motor skills, and the flexible plastic parts are a natural teething remedy. Any product has been designed to help child learn and enjoy activities at each developmental stage.
– It’s not just a toy: Anne and Ferdinand pay attention to fashion trends and latest styles. A toy has to be not only a tool, but also a aesthetically appealing décor.
– Each toy tells a story and belongs to a thematic collection. This is a fantastic tool for adults, which can be easily involved in storytelling, feature a new story and have great moments of playtime together. It has therefore a function to pass knowledge on from generation to generation.
– Each collection has a story and conveys a message… In “Are you crazy Louloup”, with the big bad wolf, the child will overcome his fears by confronting and then will be able to approach life with serenity. Growing means to get back one day and tell to the big bad wolf: “I am not afraid of you!”.
