Brand Profile
ARBO is a premium men’s ready-to-wear brand that is at the crossroads of several genres. It’s a mix of revisited tailoring and a precursor wardrobe.
My name is Chloé Pariente and I created the brand Arbo at the age of 20 after graduating in graphic design at Duperré School of Arts.
I wanted to make men’s clothing because I believe that it is one of the few areas of fashion where everything has to be built. Men have less choice in their outfits than women, and my goal with Arbo is to offer them the choice they don’t have. For this reason, I try to develop pieces in new materials, to propose colorful outfits composed like paintings and especially to invent forms of clothing for men until now only proposed to women.
Although there are shirts, jackets and pants, Arbo’s wardrobe is not limited to suits. In fact, I created Arbo because I felt the need to create dresses for men.
Dresses for men are the DNA of the brand. Placing the dress at the heart of my work allows me to rethink the wardrobe in all its ways (the buttons are designed as jewellery, the loops in the jackets are inspired by women’s cover-ups, the cotton t-shirts are enhanced by the meticulousness of the crystal embroidery).
Arbo is the freedom for men to wear what they want. It’s a forward-looking brand whose goal is to create the wardrobe of the contemporary man.
We recover stocks of sleeping fabrics from major fashion houses. In fact, this system allows us to have access to beautiful materials, designed with great care, but also to have a reduced carbon footprint, and to participate in our way to a new way of recycling.
Arbo is a marriage of fabrics, an explosion of life, a light in the monotony.
