The latest project by the acclaimed Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson, who has always been attentive to the theme of ecology and the world of children, is a collective, global and interactive work of art dedicated to children and to safeguarding the planet.


Earth Speakr, this is the title, is a free app that allows children to express their hopes, fears, and desire for change for a better future, recording messages that literally animate the environment – trees, rivers, but also daily objects or litter – and making them speak through their voice and their words. Adults are also invited to participate in the project, by listening, sharing, and amplifying the messages collected from all over the world on the website www.earthspeakr.art.
