I Want to be Green is the special Pitti Immagine project created to open the doors of Pitti Connect to the kidswear collections and initiatives that are in line with the “eco-conscious” drive of the new generations.

Wearing nettle and eucalyptus

It is called "Etna Superstar" and is dedicated to the mythical Sicilian volcano, the new SS22 collection by Bianca&Noè, the Italian brand with a strong sustainable ethos committed to creating green collections,  protecting the environment, and promoting Made in Italy craftsmanship through local workshops and artisans. All the subtle and essential styles are made with natural, traceable, biodegradable fabrics, free of pesticides or other chemical products. Some are totally innovative, like the Himalayan nettle, whose cultivation is also part of an ethical project supporting Nepalese women. The brand's mission is to teach children to dress consciously to protect the planet and their health and well-being.
The sustainable idea
Using eucalyptus instead of cotton to protect the environment and sensitive skin. This plant grows quickly, without the need for water or pesticides, saving resources and preserving the soil.
Green Materials
Himalayan nettle, hemp, and linen are transformed into hypoallergenic, biodegradable, thermoregulatory, and very resistant fabrics.
Something more
By recovering scraps from shoe factories, two expert craftsmen - Marco Del Tredici and Maddalena Vossen - create little shoes that are, of course, one-of-a-kind.
